Abstract

This study aims to determine the radiation dose to the acceptance of conventional non- contrast radiographs and the dose received by the patient on a non contrast radiographs compared Perka BAPETEN According Reference No 8 of 2011.Quantitative research approach was applied in this research for the measurement of radiation using TLD chips. Furthermore, measurement results are sent to Batan. We analize the data by calculating the average radiation dose received at each examination on the TLD reader, and then compared them with the reference dose by Bapetten. Results indicate acceptance of the radiation dose on conventional radiographs thoracic lowest dose 0.262 mGy and the highest 0.41 mGy. Abdominal were 0.924 mGy and 1,913 mGy, AP lumbo sacral spine were 1.504 mGy and 1.965 mGy, and the lateral lumbo sacral were 2.522 mGy and 3.231 mGy. Comparation between the data and the Perka BAPETEN: the value of ESD on thoracic radiographs was 0.41 mGy (exceeding 0.4 mGy), abdominal radiographs was 1,913 mGy (less than 10 mGy) , lumbo sacral spine AP was 1,965 mGy, and lumbo sacral spine radiographs laterally was 3.231 mGy (less than 30 mGy).

Abstract

This research we increase the amount of fiber in sweet bread and reducing fat, but still tasty, soft. The fiber material used is inulin extracted from gembili tubers which has the similar as fat (mouthfeel). The study was conducted in two stages, introduction stage to obtain formulations of fiber increase and fat reduction, and main research which was divided into 5 level of fat replacement with inulin and 1 control treatment without it. The analysis technique is one way ANOVA at á 1%, advanced test are decided based on variability coefficient. The results shows that the fiber content increased according to the increasing number of fat that are replaced with fiber inulin. It is a significant difference compared to the control treatment by replacing fat with the lowest dose of inulin (M1, 20% fat was replaced by 5 g of inulin). The best level of expansion and tenderness of bread is in the M3 treatment (60% fat replaced by 15 g inulin). The acceptance test can be concluded that replacing fat with inulin does not affect the taste and flavor it is affect the texture and color.

Abstract

This quantitative study was an experimental design. A total of 18 healthy male and female volunteers, with differnt BMI involved in the study by consecutive random sampling. An expert Radiologist evaluated all the 38 T2map images being studied. The arbitrary SI data were measured using one millimeter ROI of the machine measurement tools and the values of T2map were based on a fitted exponential decay calculation ?generated from the graphs developed by the Window excel. The mean differences amongst T2map values on the sagital plan femoro-tibial cartilage and coronal plan femoro-tibial (medial and lateral) were statistically tested using One-way Anova, and all the T2map images also graded by the radiologist following the OA the grading levels as published Internationally. In conclusion, an increased TE on the application of multi-spin echo sequence T2map, causing the calculated T2map values v? aried not only in the sagital area of t?he knee joint cartilage of the femoral and tibial but also in the coronal femoro-tibial (medial and lateral) for both the male and female healthy volunteer subjects, and different BMI category (under-weight, normal-weight, verweight). The values ?T2map within and between BMI group and among different gender showed statistically no difference (p-value more than 0.05). The averaged T2map and its  tandard deviations have been used to define t?he T2map biomarkers (baseline T? 2map values) in each BMJ group subjects and between gender for both of the knee joint sagital and coronal planes despite the 1.5T MRI modality is not facilitated to commercial qMRI supporting software.

Abstract

Assesing pain in mechanically ventilated patients is a great challenge. Mechanical ventilated patients are often unable to self-report the presence of pain. CPOT is a behavioral pain scale which has been developed and validated for measuring pain in nonverbal critically ill adults. Purpose: This study was to compare CPOT and Wong-Baker by examining psychometric properties including reliability, validity and responsiveness. Method : A repeated measures design was chosen for this quantitative study with 31 samples of mechanically ventilated patients. Result : The ICC values of inter-rater reliability were high at 0,965 for CPOT and low at 0,423 for Wong-Baker. Validity was demonstrated by the change in CPOT and Wong-Baker, which were significantly higher during painful procedures, with averages for CPOT 1,32 – 1,42 at rest and 2,39-4,26 during procedure (p less than 0,001) and for Wong-Baker 4,52 – 4,65 at rest and 5,29-5,74 during procedure. The CPOT exhibited excellent responsiveness, with an effect size ranging from 5,0 to 5,4 better then Wong-Baker with an effect size ranging from 0,8 to 2,2. Conclusion : This study demonstrated that the CPOT can be valid, reliabeland more responsiveness for measuring pain in mechanical ventilated patients.

Abstract

Uncontrolled hemorrhage that contributes for approximately 20 % -25 % of maternal death makes it the most serious risk. The efforts to prevent hemorrhage postpartum can be done since the third and fourth stage of delivery by giving oxytocin through oral, intra - nasal , intra - muscular , or with a massage that stimulates the release of oxytocin hormone, which cause the involution process. This study aims to determine the effect of oxytocin massage on uterine involution to woman with multiparous postpartum. Research design was an experimental Quasy Case control with 36 respondents. The results shows that the treatment mean from the measurement of the reduction of TFU in the 7th (seven) days was 8.56, the mean of group control was 6.33, p value was 0.0001, t value was 4.919. In conclusion, the oxytocin massage significantly decrease of the Height Uterin Fundus in multiparous postpartum women. While on the remeasurement on the 14th day the treatment mean was 10.00, mean value of control was 9.50, p value was 0.038, t value was 2.513 means that oxytocin massage is no longer significantly decrease the Hight Uterin Fundus for women with multiparous postpartum.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the density of flies, fly types, sanitary conditions, and the control efforts in Wage Market and Manis Market Purwokerto. This descriptive research only describes about those 4 points. Data obtained is then analyzed in tabular form by comparing the measurement results with existing standards. The result of the density of flies in Wage Market and Mains Market is 6 tails / grill block. It is categorized as the high density so there should be a protective system against the breeding places of flies. Moreover, there are no efforts to control flies at Wage Market and Manis Market. The conclusions of this study are in the Wage Market and Manis Market there are high densities of flies, so there should be a control for this phenomena. Species found are Musca Domestica, Sarcopaga sp and Phaenicia sp. Some suggestions of fly control efforts are by giving some covers to the common trash bins and waterproof trash bins, and to increase the intensity of transporting trash from TPS to TPA that previously 3 times to 4 times in the Wage Market and 2 times to 3 times in Manis Market.
